Difficult race for Johann Zarco in Jerez

CASTROL Honda LCR rider Johann Zarco crashed in Jerez on Sunday’s race.

After a solid start to the race, Frenchman Zarco was fighting for the points when a contact with another rival caused him to crash. It was declared a race incident, and the rider didn’t suffer any consequences, which was the most important thing.
Johann and the crew took a step forward over the weekend. Despite the race setbacks, their performance has improved significantly, giving hope for the following events.

“One of my rivals tried to overtake me, but he was late on the maneuver, lost the front, and hit my bike. These things can happen; it was a race incident. We’d done a good job until that moment, which is positive. We’ll keep pushing to improve and consistently fight for the points”.
